Tarek Ammoury, born January 29, 1990 in Michigan United States, is a Lebanese professional basketball player currently playing for Tadamon Zouk in the Lebanese Basketball League. He is currently preparing for the upcoming 2015 FIBA Asia Championship with the Lebanon national basketball team after being called by Veselin Matic. Tarek first signed in 2013 with Tadamon Zouk and has been since as one of the most improved players in the 2014-2014 Lebanese Basketball season. He has also been considered a possible replacement for Fadi El Khatib for the shooting guard and small forward position, due to his scoring prowess.
Personal life
Tarek is also the brother of Bachir Ammoury who currently plays in Al Mouttahed Tripoli
