Darkflank pipefish (Syngnathus taenionotus) is a pipefish species, inhabits the north-western Adriatic. Marine / brackishwater demersal, ovoviviparous fish, up to 19.0 cm length. Found mostly amongst detritus or vegetation on the shallow-muddy bottom.
