Suket is a census town in Kota district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is well known for mining of natural lime stone named KOTA STONE. J K Stone Centre is one of the oldest and renowned firm in the town which dealing in all kinds of kota stone. Suket is situated at the bank of AHU river.
Geography
Suket is located at 24°39′N 76°02′E / 24.65°N 76.03°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 320 metres (1049 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Suket had a population of 16,983. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Suket has an average literacy rate of 100%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 50%. In Suket, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
