Three ice hockey teams play at the ice rink. Fylde Flyers play in the English National Ice Hockey League, North Two Division. It is also home to two recreational teams, the re-formed Blackpool Seagulls and Wyre Seagulls.
As of summer 2013 the rink was placed under new management by the building owners, The new rink is trading as Jubilee Ice Arena.
In 2015 the rink closed and went into liquidation in 2016.
