Storås is a village in the municipality of Meldal in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located along the Orkla River, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) northwest of the village of Meldal. For most Norwegians, Storås is best known for hosting the annual Storåsfestivalen festival, since 2004. The nearest major city is Trondheim.

The 0.42-square-kilometre (100-acre) village has a population (2013) of 296. The population density is 705 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,830/sq mi).[1]
