Steve Harrick (1897 – December 7, 1988) was an American football, baseball, and wrestling coach. He served as the head football coach at West Virginia University Institute of Technology from 1935 to 1946, compiling a record of 34–39–1. Harrick was also the head baseball coach at West Virginia University, tallying a mark of 334–160.
Coaching career
Harrick was the head football coach for the West Virginia Tech Golden Bears located in Montgomery, West Virginia. He held that position for 12 seasons, from 1935 until 1946. His coaching record at West Virginia Tech was 34 wins, 39 losses and 1 tie. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #2 at West Virginia Tech in total wins and #9 at the school in winning percentage (.466).[1]
