Stephanie Knox (born 14 March 1995) is a Scottish football defender who plays for Celtic L.F.C. in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL), the top-division women's football league in Scotland. She previously played for Rangers L.F.C. and has represented Scotland at various youth levels.

Early life

Knox attended Clune Park Primary in Port Glasgow.[1] In 2006 at the age of 11, Knox signed with Rangers F.C. at a time where there was no women's or girls team.[1] At age 14, she was selected for the Scotland under-15 national team.[2] She attended Heriot-Watt University from 2013 to 2016[3][4]

Club career

In March 2012, Knox scored a goal to help the Rangers defeat Falkirk L.F.C. during the first round of the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup.[5][6] The team was later defeated by Celtic L.F.C. in the quarter-finals.

In December 2015, Knox signed with Celtic L.F.C..[7]

International career

Knox has represented Scotland at the under-15,[8] under-17 and under-19 levels.[7][9]
