Stanley John Smith (3 January 1937 – 13 January 2010) was an Australian criminal who was a hit man and partners with two major Australian crime lords George Freeman and Lenny McPherson. He was raised in Balmain, Sydney. From the late 1950s through to the 1980s, Stan Smith and his companions ruled Sydney's criminal underworld.[1]
