Sta. Teresa College (formerly St. Theresa's Academy and Colegio de Santa Teresa de Jesus) is a Catholic education institution founded in 1920 and established by the Franciscan Sisters in 1940. Its main campus is located at Kapitan Ponso Street, Bauan, Batangas, Philippines. To date, STC is a growing community of young leaders and achievers-and it is one of the top performing major schools in the province and also the oldest Catholic Schools within the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Lipa.
History
In the 1970s, the school, then named St. Theresa's Academy (STA), started to emerge in the limelight in the field of education, with the guidance of Msgr. Alberto Boongaling. His work was continued by Rev. Fr. Conrado G. Castillo, who served as the director in the year 1984–1994 and as the first college president from 1994–2004. After his term, Rev. Fr. Carlo Magno C. Ilagan took over his presidency, and during the year 2004–2015, he instigated numerous reforms and school development programs that included the opening of an affordable yet quality tertiary school, building of classrooms and offices among others. With the guiding light of the new president, Rev. Fr. Ricardo Panganiban, the school switched to a mode of festivity to reveal the 75th year of Sta.Teresa College as an institution harnessing the potentials of each member, connecting to its every partner and reminiscing the many good memories the school has kept which it is used in further shaping the institution to what is has become today.

Ricardo Panganiban was appointed as the USAL and STC's new president. Dr. Randy M. Baja was appointed as the College Dean and Vice President for Academics, while Fr. Miguel Samaniego was named as Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services. USAL schools are required to have only one principal and one Chief Operationg Officer (COO). For Sta.
