Soma Novothny (born 16 June 1994) is a Hungarian footballer who plays for Diósgyőri VTK on loan from S.S.C. Napoli.[1]

Career

Paganese

On 2 September 2013, SSC Napoli lent Novothny to Lega Pro Prima Divisione club Paganese Calcio 1926. According to the agreement between the two clubs, Novonthny will have opportunities to play more in his new club. However, SSC Napoli can bring him back whenever the club want him.[2]

Mantova

On 10 September 2014, Novothny debuted in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione club Mantova F.C. against Lumezzane Calcio. the match ended in a goalless draw. Novonthny was substituted in the 73rd minute.[3]

Südtirol

On 5 January 2015, Novonthny was signed by Lega Pro Prima Divisione club F.C. Südtirol. Novotny is going to play for FC Sudtirol in the second half of the 2014-15 season. His coach is going to be his former SSC Napoli coach Adalfo Sormani.[4][5]

On 6 January 2015, Novothny debuted in the F.C. Südtirol in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione against Arezzo Calcio. He scored twice to beat Arezzo Calcio 4-3 at home.[6][7]

Diósgyőr

On 19 August 2015, it was officially announced that Novothny signed for Hungarian side Diósgyőri VTK for a one-year loan deal.
