Shuruaat Ka Interval[5] [6]is a 2014 Indian collaborative feature film directed by a team of eight filmmakers including Krishan Hooda, Aarti S. Bagdi, Rukshana Tabassum, Ankit Tripathi, Amrit Raj Gupta, Palash Vaswani, Atanu Mukherjee, Shishir Jha.[7]The short films were mentored by acclaimed directors such as Imtiaz Ali, Anand Gandhi, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl, etc. and featured actors such as Sayani Gupta, Jitendra Kumar, Anil Mange, Jim Sarbh, Rohan Shah, etc produced by Humaramovie. In 2014, the founders of Humaramovie Vinay Mishra, Preety Ali, Pallavi Rohatgi & Raghavan initiated a starting point for film makers through mentored short film festival called Shuruaat. Shuruaat Ka Interval is the first edition of the festival.

Critical response

Shuruaat Ka Interval received positive to mixed reviews.

Rahul Desai of Mumbai Mirror rated the film 3 out of 5 and wrote : "This is cinema in its most innocent form that reminds us that there exists a world- small as it may be-where dreaming is not illegal, and making movies is still an art, and not yet a business. Grab this moment while you can."[2]
