Seminole Towne Center is 1,136,579 square feet (105,591.6 m2) and was built in 1995 in Sanford, Florida, in the Orlando metropolitan area. Owned and managed by WP Glimcher, the mall is anchored by Sears, JCPenney, Macy's, and Dillard's,[2] with Dick's Sporting Goods and Burlington Coat Factory sharing the mall's eastern anchor space.

History

On May 8, 2009, Orlando Business Journal reported the coming addition of a 20,000-square-foot (1,900 m2) H&M store.[3] The mall's eastern anchor formerly housed Belk, which was formerly Parisian and MC Rae's prior to 2005, which closed in October 2010, eventually making way for Burlington Coat Factory on the lower level, and Dick's Sporting Goods on the upper level. Additionally, Sears closed the lower level of its anchor store at the center in recent years. Washington Prime Group, now WP Glimcher, acquired Seminole Towne Center in May 2014.[4]
