Sean Kane
Sean Kane (born 10 May 1969) is a Scottish actor born in Peebles. He trained in acting at Queen Margaret College now Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
Television and film
In 2008 he appeared in BBC drama The 39 Steps with Rupert Penry Jones and Eddie Marsan. He has also appeared in The BBC soap River City and in the 2005 film, Night People, which won the audience award at BAFTA Scotland. He also played the role of Sunny Jim in Para Handy in a new version,[1] which was staged and filmed in front of a live audience at the Warehouse[2] in Lossiemouth and is now available on DVD.

The title role of Tam Lin for Theatre Alba at the Edinburgh Festival
The Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz and Abanazer in Aladdin at the Macrobert
He played the role of Mark Renton in the stage premiere of Porno (novel).
Sean was one of the first Scottish actors to perform with Romanian actors at the Teatrul De Comedie in Bucharest Romania in their production entitled 'Home'.
Company
Sean is founder of the critically acclaimed company Theatre Enigma which has produced three Scottish premieres: The Battle in the Hills/The Storm Watchers by George Mackay Brown and Our Boys by Jonathan Guy Lewis which opened at the Netherbow Theatre now named the Scottish Storytelling Centre and Four Nights in Knaresborough by Paul Webb which premiered at the Traverse Theatre in 2004.
