Scrobipalpa nigripuncta is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Bidzilya and Li in 2010. It is found in China (Henan).[1]

The wingspan is 9–10.5 mm. The forewings are grey with a pair of diffused black stripes near the base, two stripes at one-third and a diffused black spot at three-fifths. There are black-tipped scales at the base and along the costal margin. The hindwings are grey. Adults are on wing in May.

Etymology

The species name refers to the wing pattern and is derived from the Latin prefix nigr- (meaning black) and Latin punctus (meaning small spot).[2]
