Scotonycteris is a small genus of bat in the family Pteropodidae. These bats are found in various countries of West and Central Africa. It contains at least two known species:
- Zenker's fruit bat, Scotonycteris zenkeri
- Pohle's fruit bat, Scotonycteris ophiodon
