Scoparia valenternota is a moth of the Crambidae family. It was described by Howes in 1946. It is found in New Zealand.
The wingspan is about 37 mm. The forewings are white with a streak of ochreous-brown shading along the costa. There is a black line from the base on the costal edge. The subterminal and subcostal lines together form a Y-shaped mark. The hindwings are grey-white, but darker on the upper costal and outer terminal areas. Adults have been recorded on wing in December.[2]
