Syed Ali Raza Usama is a Pakistani TV, Drama(Serial) Director at Geo Tv and former creative director at AAJ TV. He joined Aaj TV as Senior Producer from 2004-2010. He is also a Film Director and he has produced over 3 dramas. In 2011 he joined Six Sigma and did numerous projects and serials. He also did promotional campaigns for mega serials like Ijazat and Meri Zaat Zara beneshaan. His mega project as director of Kash Mein teri Beti na hotiKash Mein Teri Beti Hoti.[1][2] Geo project changed the Pakistani drama screen with its unique production design element. He introduced the element of fashion and trend setting which was distinctive to television in Pakistan. He revolutionized technology for TV by using prime lenses of 5D and 7D which set his screen apart from the regular TV serials. In early 2012 he started working on his feature film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi which was released at the end of 2013. Being the first sports coming from this country he made his mark as a director and touched the audiences heart for its reality of Pakistani common man and their passion for the sport of cricket. He achieved the Best Film Director award 2013 for his Film Main Hoon Shahid Afridi in Pakistan Media Awards and a Hum TV award for Best film 2013. He has also won the Hum TV award for the best music video award 2013 for Fakhir’s Baylia. Recently Directed Bashar Momin a drama serial for Geo television which has again created a hype in the Pakistani drama industry for its unique style of production design and being the most expensive drama ever made for the Pakistani television screen.It would also be the first Pakistani serial to hit the Indian television screen is the current talk of the town, he has also directed TV serials for Geo Tv like Maryam, Dil Ishq and Saltanat e Dil. The only director in Pakistan who has worked in all genres ranging from Film, television dramas, TV commercials, Music videos, Documentaries, political cartoons, political campaigns and election campaigns.He aims high and knows his capabilities; Syed Ali Raza Usama is a league of his own. Known to be strict disciplined, extra ordinary hard working and demanding, he looks for perfections and doesn't stop until he achieves his desired goals. His way of making TV serials is totally different from other directors. He has changed the trend of Pakistani TV Serials.
