Samson Ricardo

Samson Ricardo (1792–1862) was a British politician: the Whig MP for Windsor[1] from 1855 to 1857.[2] He was a member of the wealthy Sephardic Jewish Ricardo family of Portuguese origin[3] whose members include the political economist David Ricardo. He was also the business partner of his nephew John Lewis Ricardo with whom he became an investor and Director of the Electric Telegraph Company.
