Salarium

Salarium is a SaaS end-to-end payroll management company that provides enterprise solutions for small and large businesses.[1][2][3][4][5] It is headquartered in Hong Kong [6][7] and has office in Manila, Philippines.[8]

Salarium CEO Judah Hirsch founded the company in 2013. On February 2014 Salarium won the global contest in Geneva, Switzerland and landed an equity investment worth $500,000 from Seedstars World (SSW).[9] This was the second edition of Seedstars World (SSW), whose mission is to discover the best startups beyond Silicon Valley and Western Europe, and help them succeed.

History

In 2007, Judah Hirsch, together with other Filipino entrepreneurs, founded a consultancy firm whose core competencies lay in Regulatory Compliance and Consulting for the following sectors; Food and Drug, Environmental, Accounting and Finance, and Corporate Compliance. The experience from the consultancy firm led the CEO to build Salarium.

Salarium was bootstrapped until it received its first round of investment in 2014 by Seedstars World (SSW).[10]

In March 2015, Salarium signed partnership with VMoney Inc to use VMoney's funds disbursement platform to support its payroll software solution.[11]

In April 2015, Salarium partnered with PyxPay, a mobile payment firm, in an attempt to increase its service offerings. With this, Salarium will have an e-wallet that can pay employees anywhere in the world.[12][13]

Products

Salarium's flagship product is Sal Payroll. The company also offers Sal Time and Sal Pay.

Salarium provides optimal payroll software that assists professionals in performing all major and minor HR functions. It is a cloud-based payroll system that simplifies complex payroll processes without cutting corners. SAL Pay can monetize payroll through its linkage with banks, financial institutions, private entities and other third party service suppliers. The solution is ideal for any offshore worker or business dealing with cross border payroll, said an official release.[14][15]

One of the unique value proposition Salarium offers is payroll deposits that land directly on prepaid credit cards.

SAL Time handle attendance, time tracking, leave management. SAL Time can be directly linked to payroll.

SAL Payroll

Salarium Payroll can handle 1000s of employees in minutes, automatically deducting taxes, preparing government reports, and sending custom payslips to employees.

SAL Pay

SAl Pay is a disbursement program that works wherever your employees are in the world. Using the SAL Pay e-wallet program, employees can receive their salary anywhere in the world instantly, all automated with payroll and secure.
