Saaristattus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). The single described species S. tropicus is found in west Malaysia.
Name
The genus name is derived from Finnish arachnologist Michael Saaristo and attus, an often used salticid genus ending meaning "jumper". The species name means "tropical".
