Vice Admiral SV Bhokare is an Indian Navy officer, currently serving as Commandant, Indian Naval Academy.[1]
He commanded the submarines INS Sindhughosh, INS Sindhudhwaj, INS Sindhushastra, as well as the frigate INS Beas and the submarine baseINS Vajrabahu. Before taking over the command of Eastern Fleet[2][3] he served as Flag Officer Submarines until 25 September 2015.[4]
Education
He holds a master's degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the Australian Defence College, Canberra
