Ronnie Burrell (born July 21, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player, last playing for the French team Lille Metropole.
Biography
Born in 1983, he played basketball in Montclair High School. After graduating from UNCG, he moved to play for WBA's Gainesville Knights. Burrell moved to Europe and signed with Levallois SCB for 2005-2006 season. The following season, he signed with RheinEnergie Koln. Played in NBA summer league with the Seattle SuperSonics. After that, he played for the Telekom Baskets Bonn, and Asseco Prokom Sopot/Gdynia. Burrell competed in 55 Euroleague games.
In 2011 he signed a contract with the EWE Baskets Oldenburg.[1] In July 2013, he signed with BBC Bayreuth.[2] In September 2015 he signed a contract with BC Orchies in France. Signed with Lille Metropole February 2016. Retired from playing in April 2016.
