The Roman Catholic Diocese of Sendai (Latin: Sendaiensis, Japanese: カトリック仙台教区) is a diocese located in the city of Sendai in the Ecclesiastical province of Tokyo in Japan.
History
- April 17, 1891: Established as Diocese of Hakodate from the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Japan
- March 9, 1936: Renamed as Diocese of Sendai
