Robert Charles Comer (14 December 1956 – 22 May 2007) was convicted and sentenced to death by lethal injection by the state of Arizona in 1988 for the murder of his campground neighbor, Larry Pritchard, in 1987.
In 2000, Comer waived his right to appeal, but through various legal delays and disputes in the court system, the appeals were not stopped until early 2007, seven years later. After that, it was not long until the death sentence was carried out.
Comer's last words were "Go Raiders", a reference to the Oakland Raiders of the NFL.
