Retopia is the annual cultural and technological festival of Department of Energy and Environment at TERI University, New Delhi.[1] Retopia refers to an ideal state or situation, evolving from the English word 'Utopia'. The objective of the cultural fest is to bring together government, academics, industry and other practitioners on a common platform to discuss clean energy prospects on environmental, technical and commercial lines. Retopia has witness eminent participants from MNRE, TCS, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Indian Energy Exchange, Suzlon etc.[2] The 2014 edition of Retopia was inaugurated by Piyush Goel who holds different energy ministries in India such as Power, Renewable Energy and Coal.[3]

Panel Discussion
The discussion amongst the pre-decided themes pertaining to Energy and Environment with the different experts of this field.[4]
Renewable Energy Design Challenge
An event that tries to provide a desired platform for participants who inspire to be entrepreneur in future. A technical-cultural activity to design business models.[5]
Trouble Shooting RE Industry Problem
The participants select amongst the numerous energy problems and provide solutions to deal with it.
Sustainovation
Participants come across different entrepreneurs in the field of renewable energy and gain from their knowledge and experience from this field.
Poster Presentation
Participants design a poster on topics related to Renewable Energy. The posters are designed on A4 size paper.
Group Discussion and Debate
A set of preliminary rounds at the initial stage such that the best participants move to the final round of the debate.
General Quiz
A general quiz that covers other important subjects besides Energy, Environment, Climate Science etc.
Social Cause
Swatch Bharat Mission
On the 4th edition of Retopia, Piyush Goel along with the then Chancellor at Teri University, Rajendra K. Pachauri participated in first ever national cleanliness mission at Teri University. They themselves took broom sticks and cleaned the roads at Vasant Kunj where Teri University is located.
