Ratschkathl

Ratschkathl is a stage character of the Bavarian popular theatre. It means "rattlepuss", literally "gossiping Cathy". Today in the Bavarian language it is a synonym for a "chatty and gossip addicted woman". The inventor oft this stage character was the Bavarian folk actress Elise Aulinger. Later on, the character had been perfected by the Bavarian folk comedian Ida Schumacher[1]
