Rajesh Shah (born January 18, 1963) is a practicing homeopath in Mumbai, India.[1] He was one of the first to start online medical practice in India in 1995.[2]
Homeopathic research
He has conducted clinical trials using conventional research methods for HIV and Hepatitis C, using the respective nosodes, and concluded that high dilution, potentised homeopathic preparation from HIV virus could increase CD4 cells and reduce viral load in the responder group.[3][4][5][6][7]
In the Homeopathic Pathogenetic Trial of the alkaloids Capsaicin and Dihydrocapsaicin, the interesting finding was that about 40% of the healthy volunteers produced symptoms pertaining to pain, with high-dilution, potentised medicine from the source materials which has known capacity to produce pain in crude form.[8]
He has revamped the method of preparation and introduced a new nosode sourced from Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. This study prepared a nosode at the Haffkine Institute, sourced from four strains of the organisms, including Multidrug resistance Tuberculosis.[9][10]
Rajesh Shah is Secretary of the Global Homeopathy Foundation, an NGO working for the promotion of homeopathy.[11]
