R. S. Vimal
R. S. Vimal is an Indian filmmaker who works in Malayalam cinema. He is best known for his debut directorial film Ennu Ninte Moideen. The film was based on the real-life story of Moideen and Kanchanamala, which took place in the 1960s in Mukkam, Kozhikode.[1]
Prior to making his feature directorial debut, Vimal made a documentary on the same subject, titled Mukkam. Vimal's second directorial venture, Karnan,[2] an epic historical film based on the Mahabharata, was launched in Dubai in January 2016.[3][4]
