• a nickname for the Phalanx CIWS weapon system
• a nickname for a German state-sponsored trojan horse computer program
• the local name for Right 2 Dream Too, a homeless people's organization based in Portland, Oregon
• the R2d2 (Responder to meiotic drive 2) gene, discovered by UNC School of Medicine researchers to violate Gregor Mendel's law of segregation claiming equal probability of inheriting each of the 2 copies of every gene from each parent ^[1]
