Qayqu (Quechua for a type of hunt,[2] Hispanicized spelling Cayco) is a 5,108 metres (16,759 ft) high mountain in the Willkapampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Cusco Region, La Convención Province, on the border of the districts of Santa Teresa and Vilcabamba. Qayqu lies southwest of Chuqitakarpu and northeast of Pumasillu and a lake named Pumasilluqucha ("Pumasillu lake", Hispanicized Pumasillococha).[1][3]
