Pumaqucha (Quechua puma cougar, puma, qucha lake,[1] also spelled Pumacocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Junín Region, Jauja Province, Apata District.[2][3] It lies northwest of a mountain named Wamanripayuq (Huamanripayoc) of the Comas District.
