Pseudoplatystoma tigrinum, the tiger sorubim, is a species of long-whiskered catfish native to the Orinoco and Amazon Basins,[3] in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.[2]
This species grows to 130 cm (51 in) in total length.[3][2]
