Escola Portuguesa de Arte Equestre
The Escola Portuguesa de Arte Equestre (Portuguese School of Equestrian Art ) was founded in 1979, but its roots lie in a predecessor school from the 18th century, the Academia Equestre da Corte Portuguesa. The mission of the School is to preserve classical dressage (Haute ecole) with Iberian horses (Lusitano).[1]
The school is situated in the Queluz National Palace, Queluz. The personnel comprises 17 riders under the guidance of João Pedro Rodrigues.[2]
It is directly under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning.
