Phasmatocottus ctenopterygius is a species of sculpin endemic to Japan where it is only known from Sendai Bay. It has been found at depths down to 480 metres (1,570 ft). This species grows to a length of 3.8 centimetres (1.5 in) SL. This species is the only known member of its genus.[1]
