Pensacola City FC were an American soccer team which was based in Pensacola, Florida. Founded in 2013 as the Gulf Coast Texans, they played in the National Premier Soccer League.[1] They played their home games in Ashton Brosnaham Stadium.[2] The team's primary colors were Navy Blue, Teal, and White.
History
The team was founded as a National Premier Soccer League expansion in 2013. They were part of the Gulf Coast Texans club, which also included a team in the Women's Premier Soccer League and youth teams. In 2013, the team announced it would end its partnership with the Texans and adopt a new name, Pensacola City FC.[3]
The team announced on May 29, 2014 they were folding and would not complete the 2014 NPSL season.[4]
