Oxana Corso (born 9 July 1995 in Saint Petersburg) is an Italian Paralympic athlete. As of April 2014, she holds the Women's 100 metre and 400 metre world records for the T35 cerebral palsy classification.[1][2]

Biography

Oxana was born in Russia in 1995, she arrived in Italy at the age of three years and she was adopted by the Roman family Corso, that has chosen to adopt her despite cerebral palsy.[3] She won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics,[4] and two gold medals at the 2012 IPC Athletics European Championships.[5]
