Orocrambus machaeristes is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1905.[1] It is found in New Zealand, where it has been recorded from the north-western Nelson Province, south along the southern Alps to Lake Wakatipu. The habitat consists of alpine areas.
The wingspan is 19–25 mm. The forewings grey, sprinkled with white and dark brown. The hindwings are greyish white.[2]
