Orchis patens is a species of orchid found from the central Mediterranean to northwestern Africa.
Two subspecies are recognized by the World Checklist of Selected Plant Families:[1]
- Orchis patens subsp. canariensis (Lindl.) Asch. & Graebn. – endemic to the Canary Islands
- Orchis patens subsp. patens
