ObserveIT is an Insider Threat Management[1] software company. ObserveIT provides insider threat security solutions, including employee monitoring, user activity monitoring, behavioral analytics, policy enforcement, and digital forensics to more than 1,200 customers in over 70 countries. The company’s software is deployed primarily in the financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail markets.

History

Co-founders Gaby Friedlander and Avi Amos founded ObserveIT in USA in 2006. ObserveIT initially focused on monitoring remote vendor monitoring, but now has expanded its focus to monitoring employees, privileged users and third parties in order to detect insider threats. The company grew until 2014, when Bain Capital invested $20 Million into ObserveIT, and opened up its U.S. headquarters in Boston, MA. Now under the leadership of CEO Mike McKee,[2] ObserveIT is currently on its version 6.7 [3] release.
