OOF! EP is the sixth release by Blue Scholars. It is also their fourth EP and second EP available in hard copy format. It was released on August 25, 2009.

The EP received a limited edition run of 808 physical CDs which were made available online, at the Seattle release party, at Caffé Vita locations in Seattle, and at IN4MATION Ward in Honolulu.[1] A music video for the track "HI-808" was filmed in Hawaii.[2]

To celebrate the EP's release, the group played a series of secret shows around the Seattle area. The shows were last-minute affairs and were announced via the group's Twitter mere hours before they happened.[3][4] The group performed the shows using a PA system housed in the back of a van. The secret shows were followed by a proper release show at a Hawaiian restaurant in Seattle.[1] Originally, "New People" sampled Empire of the Sun's "Walking On a Dream," but due to copyright laws and the duo feeling that the song did not mesh sonically with the rest of the album, they decided to go with the song's present incarnation. Blue Scholars leaked the original version of the song in April 2010[5]
