Nowa Karczma, Nowy Dwór Gdański County
Nowa Karczma (also colloquially known as Piaski) is an inhabited locality on the Vistula Spit in Poland. Since 1991 it is administratively part of Krynica Morska town,[1] which (since 1999) is in Nowy Dwór Gdański County, Pomeranian Voivodeship. Before this, it was a village in Gmina Sztutowo.
Before 1793 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1793-1945 Prussia and Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
