Northwest Rankin High School is a public high school that is located in Flowood, Mississippi. Northwest has many award winning school athletics teams, clubs, and organizations. The school's current attendance is around 1,750 students, but the number increases rapidly between years.
In 2011, a former NWS football coach was arrested and charged on state and federal drug trafficking charges including conspiracy to possess hashish and oxycodone. [2]
