Sunshine North is a suburb 12 km west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its local government area is the City of Brimbank. At the 2011 census, Sunshine North had a population of 10,637.
History
Sunshine North Post Office opened on 1 February 1958 as the suburb was developed.[2]

Many native species exist along the Maribyrnong River on the eastern border of the suburb. Some species thrive in the area. The most abundant are;
