The Harbour Heat were a New Zealand professional basketball team that competed in the National Basketball League (NBL). They played their home fixtures at the North Shore Events Centre in Auckland.
The North Harbour Basketball Association is the largest and most successful basketball association in New Zealand. The association fostered both the Heat in the NBL and the Heat Reserves in the Conference Basketball League (CBL). North Harbour is also the home of the Harbour Breeze, the 2014 Women's Basketball Championship (WBC) winners.[1]
