Nodak Mutual Insurance Company
Nodak Mutual Insurance Company is an insurance company based in Fargo, North Dakota. It was founded in 1946 by North Dakota farmers and ranchers to protect their businesses from natural disasters. Nodak Mutual offers insurance plans covering home, farm and ranch, auto, business, crop-hail, life, long-term care, health, as well as securities and annuities. The first leader of the organization was George W. "Bill" Nygaard, who ran the company from 1943 until his retirement in 1968.
It is affiliated with the North Dakota Farm Bureau.
