Ningyuan County (simplified Chinese: 宁远县; traditional Chinese: 寧遠縣; pinyin: Níngyuǎn Xiàn) is under the administration of Yongzhou, Hunan province, China. Mount Jiuyi (Chinese: 九嶷山) is in the county. Located in the east-central part of Yongzhou City, it borders the prefecture-level city of Yongzhou to the east.
