Niklas Hult (born 13 February 1990) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a left back or left midfielder for Panathinaikos.[1]

Career

In May 2014 Niklas Hult was signed by OGC Nice for a fee around €1 million, the French Ligue 1 club as they looked to strengthen for the 2014-2015 season. He is described as a midfield workhorse with attacking and defensive qualities.[2]

On 30 June 2016, he signed a three years' contract with Greek Superleague giants Panathinaikos for a transfer fee of €300.000 His contract, which ran until 2019, was worth €250.000 per year. [3] The new signing of Panathinaikos, Swedish left midfielder Hult, spoke to club's official website about the reasons that made him accept their offer. "I am very happy for being here, in such an important club. Of course I know well Panathinaikos' special relationship with Scandinavia and I am ready to give my best, in order to continue that successful campaign. I don't like speaking very much, I think that my teammates and me should be working hard in trainings in order to achieve our goals at the end of the season. My personal target is to return the faith of my manager and the administration's people who trusted me." [4]
