NextCon
NextCon is an annual technology conference aimed at business growth and technology development.[1] The 2016 convention was chaired by Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple,[2] Pat Wadors of LinkedIn,[3] and Tomas Gorny of Nextiva.[4] In 2016, NextCon occurred in Scottsdale, Arizona from November 14 through November 16.[5] It had "more than 50 speakers and 40 sessions focusing on topics such as entrepreneurship, business development, marketing, IT and customer service."[6][7]
Focus
The focus of NextCon revolves around didactics offering a methodology of ensuring that startup companies survive beyond five years.[8] Other topics discussed at NextCon include "overcoming challenges, branding, SEO success, data management, video content, customer service, sustainable corporate culture, and, of course, embracing innovation."[9] Lecturers including Carol Roth and Darin Brown were scheduled to teach this topic in the NextCon 2016 meeting.[8] In addition, Guy Kawasaki delivered a talk on “How to Jump the Innovation Curve”.[10][11] Gopi Kallayil of Google, on the second day of NextCon spoke on the topic “Building a Brand”, a didactic that will focus on preventing a brand name from becoming anachronistic.[10] Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, at the NextCon 2016, revealed his "formula for life", F3: "food, fun and friends".[12] Other presenters of NextCon also discussed the physiology of marketing and attendees "learn from people who have worked for the biggest companies in the world."[13][14] Local business owners of Scottsdale are also invited to elucidate the manner in which they grew their businesses to dominate the market at a national level.[15] At NextCon, new technology is also revealed, in order to help attendees the opportunity to optimize their businesses.[16]
