Netra is a panchayat village[1] in West Bengal, India.[2][3] Administratively it is under Diamond Harbour I (community development block) of Diamond Harbour subdivision, South Twenty-Four Parganas District, West Bengal.[4]
There are thirteen villages in the Netra gram panchayat: Netra, Basarali, Chousa, Dakshin Sehardaha, Hazraband, Joaru, Kamalpur, Malancha, Nudia, Radhaballabhpur, Sultanbaga, Tetuagari, and Uttar Sehardaha.[4]
Demographics
In the 2001 census, the village of Netra had 2,996 inhabitants, with 1,550 males (51.7%) and 1,446 females (48.3%), for a gender ratio of 933 females per thousand males.[5]
