Nebraska Stampede
The Nebraska Stampede is a team of the Independent Women's Football League that began play in the 2010 season. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the Stampede plays its home games at Rams Field on the campus of Ralston High School in nearby Ralston.
The Stampede, along with the River City Raiders of the Women's Spring Football League, are the first women's football teams based in the Cornhusker State.
The team was featured on KPTM in 2009 to promote team tryouts.[1] The Stampede also promoted themselves on WOWT-TV in 2010.[2]
